So, let's talk!
This is my first venture into blogging so even I don't know what to expect. All I can tell you is my vision!
I started this blog because I am a contesuer of goods. That's right, I like (correction LOVE) to shop! In fact, I'm so use to getting packages at my front door that when a day goes by and there is nothing, I start to worry.
Did you pick up on that? I'm an avid online shopper! Hey, don't judge me! I have 2 kids and clicking "complete my order" is so much easier behind a computer than lugging kids in and out of car seats from store to store. How did they do it before the internet, anyway?!?
I want to share a story with you that will create the CLEAR picture of the amount of products I buy.
Monday night sitting at the dinner table;
Judgemental Mommy- "Hey did you get the mail today?"
The Husband- "Yeah, why?"
JM- "Were there any packages on the porch?"
TH- "No, what are you expecting now?" (insert eye roll)
JM- "I don't know." (shoulder shrug)
TH- "Noooo what are you expecting? Tell me." (eyebrows up)
JM- "No really. I don't know. I mean, I know I have ordered somethings over the last few days, I just can't think of what. I assumed SOMETHING would be here by now."
OP! Another good one...
Once while I was out of town, I asked a friend and neighbor to get the packages off of my porch for me. She loves me and didn't hesitate. Little did she know- the load. She didn't ask and I wouldn't know anyway! HA! When she got them home her husband was impressed and asked if I had her pick them up for me so that my husband wouldn't see!! HAHA!
To be clear. He knows. Luckily I'm a bargain shopper and that gets me away with a lot!
Quit judging.
In my defense, a lot of the things I order are for my kids. Therefore, it's all ok!
Are you starting to get it, yet? I have credentials. I test, consume and toss a lot of products!! Many of the things I order, I have either seen; on tv, on the internet (usually someone posting about it on Facebook) or it's a random item that pops into my head that I HAVE to have. Why does that matter? What I'm saying is, many of the products I order, I have never tried and am not familiar with either the product itself or the company I got it from.
The fact that I am nearly clueless when ordering leads me to often think either "HOLY mackerel everyone alive needs this!" or "I sure hope no one else wasted 30 bucks, I should warn them!"
Now. I will!
In fact, I will not only continue to buy products to try in the name of consumer awareness but I will also take suggestions from you! Want me to try before YOU buy?!? Send it in! Want me to judge your product? Send it to me!
***In complete transparency I will go for those that are practical and peek my interest. Hey, I'm the judge!
